I’ve always loved horror.

…And if you’ve found your way here, I bet you do too.

But then life happened. I went to law school, got busy, and somewhere along the way, I stopped reading for fun. My books sat on the shelf collecting dust, and I forgot how magical it felt to lose myself in a good scary story.

Now, years later—and with two little ones of my own—I’m finally coming back to the books that once felt like home. And of course, horror was the first thing I reached for.

Oh, hey!

I’m Dominka

Haunted houses, creepy towns, things that go bump in the night, horror had me hooked the second I picked up my first Goosebumps book. I was that kid reading under the covers with a flashlight, completely convinced something was lurking in the hallway… and absolutely loving it.

But here’s the thing.

As much as I adore horror, I never really fit the “look.” I’m not the dark, brooding, all-black-everything type. I love pink, I love cozy, I love sparkles. And for a long time, I felt like maybe that meant I wasn’t a real horror fan.

Honestly? That’s silly.

So I created Lipstick Horror

a blog that’s just as girly and glittery as it is spooky and twisted. It’s for the girls who love a good slasher but also love a good scented candle. For the ones who read creepy books in pastel pajamas and still jump at every noise.

If that sounds like you, welcome. You’re so in the right place.
